Since most of us would prefer to travel together, please indicate your travel plans and we would put it in a small table:
1. Date of Departure to Turkey
2. Departure City
3. Intermediate City (New York? Frankfurt?Chicago?). Of course, the second intermediate city will be Istanbul. Also, New York might be the starting city for some of us.
4. Date of Departure from Antalya.
If you receive/collect any information about the tickets, please post it.
Thanks.

I've setup a quick database table on the Yahoo Group for all the players.
I just added fields for Vlad's travel questions. Players/parents can login the group and fill in the information.

BTW, I am having the group open for now and can restrict the access to the group info to all the us only if security is a concern.
I am trying to decide if it is better to fly on 11/15 or 11/16. Could somebody who paricipated in prior year tournaments share their opinion on how important is it to come a day or two early?
We never went but I think you have to fly the 14th or 15th...It takes almost a day to travel then you have to get accustomed to the time difference.
And is anyone going site seeing after the tournament? The tournament ends on Thanksgiving Thursday. Anyone going to Istanbul for the weekend?
I am thinking to stop in Istanbul for a day on the way back but not sure yet.
We are going on the 15th on the 6:45 JFK Turkish air Flight. Changing in Istanbul.
On the way back we're on the Thurs 11/29 7 something flight and we spend the day in IStanbul sightseeing. Traveling back on Friday on the 12:30 Turkish Air flight to JFK
